Some of California’s workers’ comp changes may not materialize

Although workers' compensation laws are always changing due to the many reviews and reforms the system goes through, the fact still remains that anyone hurt on the job in Los Angeles is probably eligible for compensation, even if an employer or insurance company doesn’t want to pay it.

The recent changes in California’s workers’ compensation laws have had some benefits, however, according to a recent report, some of the expected benefits may never really materialize. According to the chief operating officer and chief actuary at the Workers’ Compensation Rating Bureau, due to pressure on the new system some of expected savings might not come to pass.
