Construction worker suffers head injury at work site

There are many different ways a person can get hurt or become ill at work. Most people work out of necessity, which means when a person is hurt and he or she can’t continue to work the financial strain can become very difficult. However, if a person in Los Angeles is hurt on the job, then he or she should be able to receive workers' compensation for his or her lost wages.

A construction worker was taken to the hospital after being hurt at a job site, recently. According to reports, the man suffered an apparent head injury, although authorities did not know what exactly caused his injury. The job site is the same place where another worker fell to his death just two days earlier. The Department of Labor and Industries has been to the site before and were again on hand to investigate this latest incident.

Very few details were given about the man who suffered a head injury. Reportedly he is in his 30s. It is not known at this time if he was wearing a safety helmet or if there were any safety violations, which occurred that, contributed to his injury. The seriousness of his injury has not been reported, either.

Although there are several details that have yet to be determined, this man was hurt on the job and should most likely be eligible for workers’ compensation. It is not know how long he will be out of work, but he and his family should not have to worry about whether or not he will lose all of his wages for time lost. To be on the safe side, he may want to speak with a workers’ comp lawyer as soon as he can.
